What Two of Cups means

Two people trading cups and meaning it. This is the good-match card: a crush, a best friend, a business partner who gets you. Today it goes both ways.

Twos are about meeting someone halfway, and in the suit of feelings that means a bond that runs both ways. The two figures trade cups as equals, a promise offered and accepted in the same moment. Rider-Waite-Smith decks put a winged lion's head above a staff wound with two snakes there, a sign of passion in balance and healing between two people; our painting uses a heart of golden ribbons instead. In ordinary terms it's the date where conversation just flows, or the new friend who feels like an old one.

Two of Cups reversed

Something's lopsided. One of you sends paragraphs and the other sends 'k'.

Reversed, the balance slips. One person gives more than the other, a small misunderstanding grows, or two people stop really seeing each other. It can also point inward, to making peace with yourself first.

In love, work and money

Love

Mutual attraction, a connection getting serious, or a chance to patch things up. Show up as honestly as you'd like them to.

Work

A good partnership, a fair deal, or a coworker you click with. Agree on who does what so it stays even.

Money

Shared money decisions or a fair split with someone you trust. Talk it through and put what you agreed in writing, even if it's just a shared note.

Yes or no?

Leans yes. both cups are held out and both are taken, which is what mutual means.
