Eight of Wands

What Eight of Wands means

Eight wands flying through the air, all headed somewhere fast. Messages land, plans move, and the thing you were waiting on happens all at once. Keep your phone charged.

There's not a single person on this card, only staffs in flight, and that's the point. Eights are about movement, and in the fire suit movement means speed: things that were stuck suddenly take off, all aimed at the same landing spot. Traditionally it stands for news, messages and travel, often arriving close together. On a normal week it looks like three emails coming back with a yes on the same morning, or a stalled plan picking up so fast you have to jog to keep up.

Eight of Wands reversed

Everything's delayed, or everything's arriving at once and you can't catch it all. Answer the important one first.

Reversed, the momentum stalls or scatters. Replies go missing, travel plans slip, or you're rushing so hard that things land in the wrong place. It can also warn about a decision made at top speed, before the facts were in.

In love, work and money

Love

Things moving quickly: fast replies, sudden chemistry, or plans with someone far away finally coming together. Enjoy the pace and check you're both headed the same way.

Work

Deadlines moving up, quick approvals, a pile of correspondence all at once. Knock out the small stuff fast so your hands are free when the big thing lands.

Money

Money may move quickly in both directions, so keep an eye on what's heading out. Pay the bill today instead of letting it drift.
