Seven of Wands
Tarot card meaning: upright and reversed, in love, work and money.

What Seven of Wands means
Top of the hill, one stick against six, still not budging. Somebody's pushing on your idea or your boundary. Hold the line, you've got the high ground.
Sevens test what you've built, and this one tests it under pressure. After the Six's victory come the challengers, so the figure plants his feet and holds the spot he earned. The high ground is the key symbol: he's outnumbered but still has the advantage, and in the Rider-Waite-Smith card he even wears mismatched shoes, as if he scrambled into position. Any time you have to defend a decision, a boundary or your seat at the table, this card is in the room.
Seven of Wands reversed
You're worn out from defending the fort, or defending something that never needed it. Not every comment is an attack.
Reversed, the defending gets exhausting, or it stopped being necessary and you kept going anyway. You may be ready to give up a position you could still hold. Or you've been braced for so long that every question sounds like a challenge, and it's time to pick fewer hills.
In love, work and money
Love
Protecting the relationship from outside opinions, or holding a boundary with someone you're dating. Kind and firm works better than loud.
Work
Defending your plan in a tough meeting, or holding your place in a crowded field. Bring your evidence and keep your voice level.
Money
Saying no to pressure to spend, lend or chip in when it doesn't work for you. Your budget is allowed to have a door that closes.
Yes or no?
Leans yes. you're the one on the high ground, as long as you're willing to keep standing there.
