What King of Wands means

The King of Wands sees the whole picture and gets people moving toward it. You've got the ideas and the nerve to back them. Lead, even if it's only the dinner plans.

Kings carry their suit's energy out into the world, and this one turns fire into vision and leadership. He leans forward as if about to stand up and get going, eyes on a horizon only he can quite see yet. The lions and the lizard, our stand-in for the traditional salamander, repeat the suit's fiery symbols, and his staff still has leaves, a sign that his authority keeps growing. He's the founder, the coach, the neighbor who turns a complaint about the park into a cleanup day with forty volunteers.

King of Wands reversed

Bossy, impatient, expecting everyone to keep up. Turn around and check whether anyone's still following.

Reversed, vision turns into control. He might expect everyone to keep his pace, make promises he can't keep, or decide things without listening. It can also show a leader who goes missing right when people need a direction.
