Queen of Wands

What Queen of Wands means

Sunflower in one hand, black cat at her feet, completely at home in herself. When the Queen of Wands walks in, the room warms up. Take up space today.

Queens hold their suit's energy from the inside, and the Queen of Wands is fire that's comfortable in its own skin. The lions on her throne stand for courage, the sunflower for joy and turning toward the light, and the black cat for her independent streak and a dash of intuition she doesn't always show. She's warm and sure of herself without needing to prove it. She's the person who can run the fundraiser and still remember everyone's coffee order, and often this card means that confidence is showing up in you.

Queen of Wands reversed

Your fire's burning low and you're acting fine, or someone else's spotlight has you a little green. Refill your own lamp first.

Reversed, her fire dims or flares too hot. You might be running on empty while insisting everything's fine, or slipping into jealousy and a need for the spotlight. Either way, look after your own spark before tending anyone else's.
