The Magician
Tarot card meaning: upright and reversed, in love, work and money.

What The Magician means
Everything you need is already on the table, even if half of it lives in the junk drawer. The Magician says stop gathering and start doing. Point your attention at one thing and watch it move.
Card one is where the Fool's loose potential turns into action. The Magician's table holds the four suits of tarot, so every tool is already in reach, and the figure eight overhead is the old sign for the infinite. One hand up and one hand down is the pose of as above, so below: pulling an idea out of the air and planting it in the real world. You'll see this card when the skill and materials are there and the only thing left is to start.
The Magician reversed
Big talk and no follow-through, or a little sleight of hand you hope nobody catches. Make sure you're doing the thing and not just describing it.
Reversed, the Magician's talent gets aimed at the wrong target: charm used to dodge the real work, or a pitch with more polish than substance. It can also just mean scattered focus, with eleven browser tabs open and not one finished.
In love, work and money

Work
A strong card for interviews, launches and any task where your skills finally get the spotlight. Choose the single top priority and give it your sharpest hours.
Money
